Kamui's location in central Hokkaido blesses the resort with very light powder snow. The best place to experience this is after snow fall on the Deep Powder and Fresh Powder runs at the top of the mountain.Advanced tree runs
Kamui has a high percentage of ungroomed trails in bounds loaded with fresh powder. Expert skiers can try the Bumps, Todomatsu, and Treerun runs which can be accessed via gates when the snow quality is good.Steep & technical

My kids still rave about this meal. Pork soup (tenjiru) with the most delicious rice balls in the world. Comfort food at its best! Will return to Kamui just for this!

Through one of the BC gates. No one around. It was so peaceful and the view was spectacular. Had to stop to take it all in.

Had the King of Kamui today. An upsized curry rice with chicken katsu, potato croquette, chicken karaage, beef curry and topped with a fried egg. Ok it was a bit much for me and we had to share it. Maybe if I hadn't stuffed myself during the breakfast buffet.

Second day at Kamui was a powder day!! The first for this trip. Konichiwa old friend. Been 4 years since we last met.
