Asahidake is the tallest peak in the Daisetsuzan mountain range and highest ski resort in Hokkaido. There are no courses and its essentially a ropeway assisted backcountry area.
Amazing backcountry
The area is essentially backcountry accessed by the ropeway. If you know what you are doing you are bound to find fresh lines and deep, deep powder.
Hokkaido's highest
At 2290m, Asahidake is the tallest mountain in Hokkaido and receives it's just amount of snow.
Freeride playground
The ropeway gives skiers access to some incredible terrain and trees. You find you own way here or better yet, get a local guide who knows the place.
