The Rockwood hotel has an onsen with water flowing from springs underneath Mt Iwaki. Nice views and walking distance from the lifts.
World class park & halfpipe
Aomori Springs has the largest halfpipe in Japan and a well maintained terrain park. It is the training ground for Japan's freestyle hopefuls.
Self Responsibilty Areas
The resort has several "self responsibility areas" at the top of the resort which are pretty much inbounds tree skiing areas. Powder chasers will love it here.
Kids ski free
Children under 6 can ski free if accompanied by an adult with a pass.
