This was my usual breakfast. Bowl of Tuna donburi, Salmon Waffle, scrambled eggs and sausages with corn soup. Delicious.. Although.. I wouldn't mind if they switched it up every few days.
One of the premium breakfast offerings at OMO7. These guys were making Maguro Zuke. Bowls of delicious marinated tuna sashimi on rice with freshly grated wasabi.
If you wanted your skis or boards waxed you can drop it off at White Time who can do it overnight. They also do rentals. Wouldn't mind trying out one of those Japanese boards next time.
The White Time shop had a very nice looking range of Vector Glide skis and snowboard. They also stocked outerwear by BLANKS and some boutique labels I haven't seen before.
They have 2 ski board tuning stations with all the tools, waxing iron and a wax bar with different types of wax for various temps. Can be a bit of a line at night when people are getting their sticks waxed up for a powder day.
OMO 7’s ski / board storage room is a nice feature. Located just outside the main entrance, so you don't have to bring your gear up to your room.
The T8 from Field Earth is like the Bat mobile of snowboards. This board is a showcasw for Field Earth's 3D design thinking with 3D base, top and MOVE deck which is raised where your bindings are. Looks real niiice. Wonder if they let guests demo this board?
The OMO 7 X Field Earth lounge was a collaboration with the premium Japanese ski and snowboard maker to showcase their latest models.
Loved the animal themes at OMO7 featuring the stars of the Asahikawa Zoo.
Amazing breakfast at OMO7 Asahikawa. These mini bakery treats are so cute and very delicious.
OMO's Go-Kinjo map lists out all the best places you can try Asahikawa's famous foods like ramen, Genghis Khan BBQ and Shinkoyaki. An OMO ranger is present in the evenings to give recommendations and you can even book a guided food tour. We did this on our first evening, and it was really helpful to get an idea of where the food streets like Furarito, Sanroku were.
