Kutchan

Kutchan is a 5 in drive from Hirafu and offers a more local experience. It has cheaper accommodation and better amenities with supermarkets, local restaurants and a train station. There are shuttle buses running from Kutchan to Hirafu.

Niseko Village / Higashiyama

Upmarket area where you will find the international Hilton hotel and several luxury accommodation option. Its quieter with people paying to be isolated inside their expensive hotels replete with snow valets and private chefs.
